Description

UNI-T UDP3303C Programmable Linear DC Power Supply 30V 3A 195W

Product Description

The UNI-T UDP3303C Programmable Linear DC Power Supply is a three-channel laboratory power supply designed for electronics development, circuit testing, maintenance, research, and educational applications. Its linear power architecture provides low output noise and ripple, making it suitable for powering sensitive electronic circuits where stable DC voltage is required. The unit combines two independently adjustable outputs with an additional selectable auxiliary output, providing flexibility for testing circuits with multiple supply rails.

The CH1 and CH2 outputs can each be adjusted from 0 to 30V DC and 0 to 3A, while the third channel provides selectable outputs of 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V at up to 3A. CH3 can also be fine-adjusted using the output control, allowing more precise adjustment around the selected nominal voltage. The combined maximum output power of the power supply is 195W.

The UDP3303C supports both Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) operation. In CV mode, the supply maintains the selected voltage while the load current remains below the configured limit. When the load reaches the current limit, the supply transitions into CC mode to limit the output current. This behavior is useful when powering and protecting prototypes, development boards, LEDs, motors, and other electronic loads during testing.

For more demanding laboratory work, the two adjustable channels can also be configured for series or parallel operation. Series operation can be used when a higher voltage is required, while parallel operation can increase the available current within the instrument's specified limits. The supply also provides overvoltage and overcurrent protection, helping protect both the instrument and connected circuits during testing.

The instrument features a high-precision four-digit display with 10mV voltage and 1mA current setting resolution. Users can store and recall up to five groups of settings (M1–M5), while the SET VIEW function allows the configured values to be viewed separately from real-time output measurements. A key-lock function helps prevent accidental parameter changes during operation.

The UDP3303C is also designed for computer-controlled testing. It includes USB Device and RS-232 communication interfaces, while a digital I/O interface supports remote output ON/OFF control. The USB interface can also be used for software upgrades and computer-based control of the power supply. An additional front USB port provides a dedicated 5V/2A charging output independent of the main supply channels.
