The UNI-T UTi716B Thermal Camera is a professional handheld thermal imaging instrument developed for identifying temperature variations in electrical systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC installations, and industrial environments. By displaying infrared radiation as a thermal image, it helps technicians locate abnormal hot spots, investigate potential faults, and perform preventive maintenance without direct contact with the inspected surface.

The camera features a 160 × 120-pixel infrared sensor with Super Resolution processing that enhances the displayed image to 320 × 240 pixels. Its 2.8-inch TFT screen presents thermal measurements clearly, while the focus-free design allows convenient inspection without manual focusing. With a temperature measurement range of -20°C to 550°C, the UTi716B supports a broad range of routine diagnostic tasks.

The integrated T-Mix image fusion technology combines thermal and visible-image information to help users identify the physical location of temperature anomalies. Additional image modes include thermal, visual, and picture-in-picture (PIP). Seven selectable color palettes make it easier to interpret temperature differences under different inspection conditions.

For more detailed analysis, the UTi716B provides on-screen measurement using five points and three rectangular areas, along with high- and low-temperature tracking. Adjustable temperature alarms use screen animation, an LED light, and a buzzer to alert users when configured temperature limits are reached. The built-in 2 MP digital camera and video recording function support inspection documentation, while Wi-Fi connectivity enables live streaming and data transfer through compatible applications.

Designed for field use, this UNI-T thermal imager includes a rechargeable 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery with a rated operating time of at least eight hours. USB Type-C connectivity supports charging and data-related operations. Its IP65 protection rating and 2-meter drop resistance make it suitable for demanding maintenance environments.
