Product Description

The UNI-T UT58E Digital Multimeter is a high-accuracy manual-range multimeter designed for electrical and electronic measurement, troubleshooting, maintenance, and laboratory applications. As one of the higher-accuracy models in the UT58 series, the UT58E combines a 20,000-count display with a range of measurement functions, making it suitable for technicians, engineers, electricians, and electronics professionals who need more precise readings than a standard 2,000-count multimeter.

The UT58E measures DC voltage up to 1000V with an accuracy of ±(0.05%+3), providing high-resolution voltage measurements for electronic circuits and electrical systems. It also measures AC voltage up to 1000V, DC current up to 20A, AC current up to 20A, and resistance up to 200MΩ. These ranges allow the meter to cover common electrical troubleshooting tasks as well as measurements in electronic circuits.

In addition to voltage, current, and resistance measurements, the UT58E supports capacitance, frequency, temperature, diode, continuity, and transistor measurements. Capacitance can be measured up to 20µF, while frequency measurement covers up to 20kHz. Temperature measurement ranges from -40°C to 1000°C when used with the supplied K-type temperature probe.

The meter features a large 60 × 54mm LCD and a 20,000-count display, making small measurement changes easier to observe. Additional functions include data hold, diode testing, continuity testing with buzzer, function symbols, test-lead connection indication, and automatic power-off. These functions are particularly useful during field troubleshooting and repetitive measurements.

For practical electrical work, the UT58E also provides measurement protection and is supplied with a protective holster, test leads, multipurpose socket, test clips, and a point-contact temperature probe. The instrument is powered by a 9V 6F22 battery and has a compact handheld design measuring 179 × 88 × 39mm with a net weight of approximately 350g.
