The platform could run full blown PC like OS with easy to use tool chain and compatible with the popular for-Arduino-ecosystem such as for-Arduino-Shields (may need a bridge shield) and open source projects etc.
It’s easy to hook up, just connect 5V power and a keyboard and mouse. The pcDuino outputs video to any HDMI enabled TV or monitor via the built in HDMI interface. Arduino Mega 2560 Italy R3
The Arduino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560. It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button.
