Product Description

The ZK-4KX DC-DC Buck-Boost Converter Module is a programmable switching power module designed to increase or decrease DC voltage while providing adjustable constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) control. It offers a versatile power conversion solution for electronics development, laboratory testing, battery charging applications, and custom DC power supply projects.

The module accepts an input voltage ranging from 5V to 30V DC and provides an adjustable output voltage from 0.5V to 30V DC. Its buck-boost conversion capability allows the output voltage to be configured either below or above the input voltage, making it suitable for applications where the available DC source does not match the required load voltage.

The ZK-4KX supports adjustable output current limiting from 0A to 4A. It can operate continuously at approximately 3A under natural cooling conditions, with the maximum 4A capability requiring enhanced heat dissipation. Its output power is rated at approximately 35W with natural cooling and up to 50W with additional cooling.

An integrated LCD displays important operating parameters, including input voltage, output voltage, output current, output power, accumulated output capacity, and operating time. The digital adjustment system uses control buttons and a rotary encoder to configure voltage, current limits, and protection settings.

The module supports both CC and CV operating modes. Constant Voltage mode maintains the configured output voltage, while Constant Current mode limits the output current to the selected value. These functions make it useful for powering electronic circuits, testing components, and charging compatible battery systems with an appropriate charging profile.

For improved operational safety, the ZK-4KX includes multiple adjustable protection functions, such as input undervoltage, output overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, overtemperature, timeout, and capacity protection. It also incorporates input reverse-polarity protection and output reverse-current protection.

With its compact design, digital monitoring, adjustable power output, and flexible conversion capability, the ZK-4KX is a practical tool for electronics workshops, engineering laboratories, prototyping, and DC power management applications.
