Product Description

The RELETEK RM-FVA 3 Phase 100A Voltage & Current Protector is a multifunctional protection relay designed to monitor and protect three-phase electrical systems against abnormal voltage and current conditions. It is suitable for industrial, commercial, and heavy-load electrical applications where voltage instability, overcurrent, phase imbalance, or incorrect phase sequence can affect connected equipment.

The device continuously monitors the three-phase supply and can disconnect the load when the measured electrical parameters exceed the configured protection limits. With a 100A adjustable current protection range, it is designed for higher-load three-phase installations and provides an additional layer of protection for motors, pumps, compressors, machinery, distribution systems, and other electrical equipment.

The RM-FVA provides adjustable overvoltage and undervoltage protection. The overvoltage threshold can be configured from 220V to 300V, while the undervoltage threshold can be adjusted from 120V to 210V. This allows the protection limits to be matched to the operating requirements of the connected three-phase system. The voltage monitoring range extends from AC 50V to 400V, with operation at both 50Hz and 60Hz.

In addition to voltage monitoring, the 100A version provides adjustable overcurrent protection, allowing the current threshold to be configured according to the connected load. Available technical documentation for the RPVA3-100A version indicates a current setting range of 1A to 100A, with 1A adjustment steps.

The protector also supports phase sequence and phase asymmetry protection, helping identify abnormal three-phase operating conditions that could cause improper motor rotation or uneven loading. Adjustable reset/start and overcurrent trip delays help prevent unnecessary disconnection during temporary fluctuations or starting-current conditions.

Designed for installation inside electrical control panels, the RM-FVA uses a compact modular construction suitable for DIN-rail mounting.
