Description
Arduino Due AT91SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 Board (84MHz, 512KB)
Arduino Due AT91SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 Board
The Arduino Due is a powerful 32-bit microcontroller board designed for advanced embedded systems, robotics, and high-speed data processing applications. Unlike traditional Arduino boards based on 8-bit AVR microcontrollers, the Due is built around the Atmel (Microchip) AT91SAM3X8E ARM Cortex-M3 processor, delivering significantly higher performance and computational capability.
Running at 84 MHz, the Arduino Due provides a major performance boost compared to boards like Arduino Uno or Mega. It features 512KB of flash memory and 96KB SRAM, allowing it to handle complex programs, real-time processing, and large data buffers efficiently.
One of the standout features of the Due is its true 32-bit architecture, enabling faster calculations and more efficient handling of data-intensive tasks such as signal processing, robotics control, and communication systems.
The board includes 54 digital I/O pins (12 PWM), 12 analog inputs, and 2 DAC outputs, making it highly flexible for interfacing with sensors, actuators, and analog systems. It also supports multiple communication interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C (TWI), and USB OTG, allowing it to function as both a USB host and device.
⚠️ Important Note: The Arduino Due operates at 3.3V logic level only. Applying 5V directly to its pins can damage the board.
