C43 Water Level Sensor & Liquid Water Droplet Depth Detection
20.00 EGP
Water detection sensor is used to detect water leak, water level or rains. This is obtained by having a series of parallel wires exposed traces. The sensor traces have a weak pull-up resistor of 1 MΩ. The resistor will pull the sensor trace value high until a drop of water shorts the sensor trace to the grounded trace.
Description
Key Features:
✔ Detection Method: Conductivity-based (works with water and conductive liquids)
✔ Output Options:
-
Analog Output (0V–5V, varies with water depth)
-
Digital Output (TTL, adjustable via sensitivity potentiometer)
✔ Operating Voltage: 3.3V–5V DC (compatible with Arduino, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi)
✔ Probe Material: Corrosion-resistant nickel alloy (long lifespan)
✔ Detection Area: 10mm × 40mm exposed traces (measures droplets to submersion)
✔ Response Time: <100ms (fast detection)
✔ Module Size: 20mm × 60mm (compact PCB design)
Applications:
-
Smart Plant Monitoring – Soil moisture detection for automatic irrigation
-
Leak Alarms – Flood detection in basements/industrial equipment
-
DIY Projects – Water level indicators for tanks, aquariums, or coffee makers
-
Weather Stations – Rainfall measurement
How It Works:
-
Analog Mode: Output voltage increases with water depth (0V = dry, ~4.5V = submerged).
-
Digital Mode: Outputs HIGH/LOW when liquid crosses a set threshold (adjustable via potentiometer).
Wiring Example (Arduino):
-
VCC → 5V
-
GND → GND
-
A0 → Analog input (for depth measurement)
-
D0 → Digital input (for on/off detection)
Package Includes:
-
1× C43 Water Level Sensor Module
