LM7810
8.00 EGP
LM7810 is a positive voltage regulator integrated circuit. It is part of the LM78xx series of positive voltage regulators. The IC delivers a precise 10V output with 1A to 1.5A output current, although obtaining 1A or 1.5A current from the IC will necessitate the use of a suitable heatsink. A maximum input voltage of 35V can be handled by the IC.
One of the advantages of these voltage regulators is that the output voltage of the IC will remain constant at 10V even if the input voltage fluctuates between 13V and 35V. The input voltage must be 3 to 4 volts greater than the output voltage to produce a precise 10V output with the IC.
Because it has built-in short circuit protection, overheat protection, and safe area protection characteristics, the LM7810 is a trustworthy IC for use in commercial appliances and equipment. It is internally damage proof and can provide long-term performance in circuits.

LM7810 Circuit
We’re creating a 24 V or 12 V to 10 V converter with a few low-cost components in this circuit below. The IC LM7810, the diode 1N4001, capacitors, and a 12 V or 24 V DC supply are among the components. The following circuit will produce a “fixed output” of 10V DC. The input voltage can range between 12V and 24V DC. Because the IC supports a maximum input voltage of 35 volts, you can use voltages higher than 24 volts, but the voltage difference will result in heat dissipation from the IC, necessitating the use of a large heat sink.

How to Safely Long Run in a Circuit?
It is recommended that you do not drive a load of more than 1.5A with this IC, always use an appropriate heatsink, and do not apply input voltage greater than 35V. For added safety, do not give input voltage greater than 25V to 30V. When the IC is in use, the temperature around it should be between 0 and 125 ℃, and the storing temperature should be between -65 and 150 ℃。
