The UNI-T UT804 Bench Digital Multimeter is a multifunction benchtop measuring instrument designed for electronics laboratories, engineering workshops, research facilities, and professional electrical testing. It combines a high-resolution display with a wide range of measurement functions, providing a versatile solution for component testing, circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and electrical measurements.

The UT804 features a 40,000-count display with a 4¾-digit resolution and True RMS measurement for AC voltage and current. Its DC voltage measurement offers a basic accuracy of ±(0.025% + 5 digits), making it suitable for applications requiring detailed and consistent readings. The instrument supports DC voltage measurement up to 1000V and AC voltage measurement up to 1000V.

Beyond voltage and current, the UT804 measures resistance up to 40MΩ and capacitance up to 40mF. It also supports frequency measurement up to 400MHz, temperature measurement using a Type-K thermocouple, duty-cycle measurement, and 4–20mA loop measurement displayed as a percentage. These functions make it useful for testing electronic components, power supplies, industrial control circuits, and instrumentation systems.

The meter includes practical measurement and data-management functions such as auto and manual ranging, data hold, peak hold, MAX/MIN recording, relative measurement, data storage, and data recall. Its internal memory can store up to 9,999 readings, allowing measurements to be reviewed after testing.

For computer-based measurement and documentation, the UT804 provides USB and RS-232 communication interfaces. These connections support data transfer and instrument communication with compatible software. The large benchtop LCD also includes an analog bar display to help users observe measurement variations.

The instrument can operate from an AC power supply or six 1.5V R14 batteries, providing flexibility for laboratory and field use.
