Product Description

The UNI-T UT803 Bench Digital Multimeter is a multifunction benchtop measuring instrument designed for electronics laboratories, engineering workshops, educational institutions, and professional electrical testing. It combines a broad range of measurement functions with a 6000-count display, making it suitable for circuit analysis, component testing, troubleshooting, and general electrical measurements.

The UT803 features a 3 5/6-digit display with a maximum reading of 5999 counts and True RMS measurement for AC signals. It supports DC and AC voltage measurement up to 1000V, as well as DC and AC current measurement up to 10A. Its DC voltage accuracy is specified at ±(0.3% + 2 digits) on the main measurement ranges, providing useful measurement resolution for laboratory and maintenance work.

In addition to voltage and current, the instrument measures resistance up to 60MΩ, capacitance up to 6mF, and frequency up to 60MHz. It also supports temperature measurement using a compatible thermocouple, along with diode testing, continuity testing, and transistor hFE measurement. These functions make it a versatile instrument for testing electronic components and evaluating electrical circuits.

The UT803 includes both automatic and manual ranging, allowing users to select the measurement range according to their testing requirements. Additional functions include data hold, MAX/MIN recording, relative measurement, display backlight, low-battery indication, and automatic power-off. Its input protection and overload indication provide additional support during normal measurement operations.

For measurement documentation and computer-based monitoring, the UT803 provides USB and RS-232 communication interfaces. These interfaces allow measurement data to be transferred to a compatible computer using the appropriate software and connection cables.

The instrument features a large benchtop enclosure measuring approximately 310 × 105 × 240mm. It can operate from an AC mains supply or six R14 batteries, depending on the specific regional version.
