The UNI-T UDP6730 Programmable DC Switching Power Supply is a single-channel laboratory power supply designed for electronics development, testing, production, and automated measurement applications. It provides a wide adjustable output range of 0 to 40V DC and 0 to 30A, with a maximum output power of 360W. Its fully digital control system allows precise adjustment of voltage and current while supporting constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) operating modes.

One of the main advantages of the UDP6730 is its wide-range output capability. The power supply automatically manages the available voltage and current according to its 360W power limit. For example, at 40V the maximum available current is approximately 9A, while lower output voltages allow higher current levels, up to the unit's maximum 30A rating. This makes the UDP6730 suitable for a wide range of low-voltage, high-current test requirements without requiring several separate power supplies.

The power supply offers 10mV voltage setting resolution and 1mA current setting resolution, providing fine control during circuit development and laboratory testing. UNI-T specifies programming accuracy of less than 0.1% + 10mV for voltage and less than 0.3% + 30mA for current for the UDP6730. The unit also features low ripple and noise, with voltage ripple and noise specified at less than 12mVrms.

For demanding test setups, the UDP6730 includes a remote sense compensation function. This compensates for voltage drops across the output leads, helping maintain the required voltage at the load rather than only at the power supply terminals. The UDP6730 also supports programmable operation for automated and repetitive testing. It provides memory for preset voltage and current outputs and supports functions such as list and sequence operation. Multiple protection functions are integrated into the design, including over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), and over-temperature protection (OTP). The intelligent fan regulation system adjusts cooling according to operating conditions, helping manage heat while reducing unnecessary fan operation.
